Jessica L. Tracy, Ph.D.

Jess is a Professor of Psychology at the University of British Columbia and a Sauder Distinguished Scholar. Her work is currently supported by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) insight grant.

Jess grew up in Washington DC, and in 1996 received her BA from Amherst College. After graduating she drove across the country to San Francisco, and in 2005 received her PhD in social-personality psychology from UC Davis. In 2006 Jess moved up north to Vancouver to begin her professorship at UBC.
